Journey’s End

I have posted a couple of times about the sweet little boy in my community that has been battling cancer for the past year. In spite of everything the doctors tried and the multitude of prayers, sevent year-old Trey Freeman went home to heaven this morning.

It is with tremendous sadness that I post this as I was clinging to hope of a miracle. I guess Jesus wanted Trey to come live with Him now. His earthly daddy posted this simple comment this morning to let the thousands of people who have been following his journey know of his passing.

Because Trey accepted Christ, he has now overcome sickness and death and is with Jesus!

So sorry for his passing. Beautiful angel with so much joy and hope in his smile. My thoughts and prayers for him and his family. As a parent, I can’t imagine what his mom and dad are going through.

Thanks, IT. they are coping, but suffering. They left for a get away in Colorado, one of Trey’s favorite places to go. His posts on FB (Jeremy, the dad) are so heart-wrenching. They have four other children to keep strong for, but this is so hard. Trey started off in this life needing a bone marrow transplant at 2 weeks old.
