    What a lovely assortment of photos, A great variety, well done.
    The second photo leaves me questioning … what is it?

      Thank you and thanks for joining my blog! Welcome aboard!
      It is the underside of a pier in Huston, Texas. I loved the repeating patterns (although imperfect) of the pylons and concrete footings. There were old ones and the new metal ones that replaced them!
